About the Event
This exceptional event, under the theme " Akana kar'Iwabo " - The Burundian Child Among His Own, is an artistic work carried out by the Inyangezi Group, which retraces a living page of Burundi's history through sketches, dances, and traditional songs. This show highlights the deep attachment of a people to their origins. It celebrates Burundian cultural richness and intergenerational transmission, thanks to the commitment of more than 100 members (children, adolescents, and adults) united by a shared love for their native land. Beyond distances, " Akana kar'Iwabo " embodies a shared memory and cultural pride that we wish to bring to life and radiate.
Beyond celebrating and promoting the richness of Burundian culture, this show also aims to support a noble and transformative cause.
Indeed, in addition to financing the activities of the Inyangezi Group, the proceeds from the show will be used to financially support the Shekinah school,…
